Title: Not Raven glad with FD’s Bowl coverage

SIR – I was in a fantastic mood – the Ravens routed the Giants and First Down will have to print it up !

Or so I thought.

This week’s post-Super Bowl issue even tops last weeks for its biased, lack of intelligent journalism.

Suffocating play – this is the NFL, and you are allowed to tackle! Ray Lewis – blah! blah! blah! Art Modell verses Cleveland – blah! blah! blah! Perhaps we should give the trophy to the ‘new’ Browns – after all we don’t deserve it do we?

Hell’s Angels! Darth Vader! Most hated Team! Blackhearts! This must really please the Raiders fans.

Finally David Ginsburg bucks the trend. The Ozzie Newsome section was worth reading – well done. Of course the truth lies within.

The Cleveland connection has been severed. When we moved not only were the players changed, but the coaching staff as well. That is why we don’t play in Brown.

It your staff really are that short of ideas here is a few to mull over: Why not print a regular section on each teams’ fan support in the U.K. (feel free to leave out the Baltimore section if you wish) with contacts for fans. I am sure that there  many out there that would like to get in touch with each other.

How about getting your readers to start lobbying for better NFL coverage in the UK. Let’s face it – it is pretty poor at times – C5 is a joke.

I suspect that most of your readers are, like me, initiates from the old C4 days. Okay. Sky live is a massive boost, but it will hardly attract the youth of today. I listen to the Ravens on NFL.com.

The usual request for Ravens fans to get in touch.
